Water-main flushing removes accumulation of iron and sediment, reducing discolored water over the long term, according to the city’s water department. During the work period, customers may see some degree of discoloration in water, as well as experience lower water pressure. Before washing clothes, check your water for discoloration.

City officials said the water is safe for consumption. For more information call 419-483-3819.
