A Mansfield man accused of abusing a Huron woman and holding her captive for days is scheduled to appear in court today.
James Douglas Fisher Jr., 31, was charged with one count each of domestic violence, aggravated menacing and unlawful restraint, and two counts each of theft and felonious assault.
He's being held in the Erie County Jail without bond because the alleged crime was so violent, police said.
For a few days in late September, Fisher held Danielle Abrams, 25, against her will in her Center Street home, police said. He eventually forced her to drive him to Mansfield, where he was later arrested.
During the investigation officers found gobs of Abrams' hair in a garbage can inside the home. Fisher had pulled her hair out, a police report said.
