JUST IN: Residents seek relief on property taxes

Erie County Board of Revisions has started its hearing process for more than 400 property owners who are contesting the value of residential and commercial properties.

 Erie County Board of Revisions has started its hearing process for more than 400 property owners who are contesting the value of residential and commercial properties.

The three-person Board of Revisions includes one representative each from the county commissioners, treasurer and auditor's office. With more than 400 appeals scheduled, the process is expected to last until August, with the revisions board meeting several days each week.
