I have said for years a school in downtown Sandusky would be an awesome idea particularly with so many vacated buildings....I'd love to see a Bible College.
Yeah, a bible college is about the last thing this area needs. How about a real college, with accrediation with classes that can improve the local workforce. No more of this underwater basketweaving and intorduction to pottery.
Put his other boot back on willya?
where is his right hand? What book is he reaching for? maybe this is a Freudian manifestation of what the artist feels the commission and movers n shakers of Sandusky are doing.
We could use an accredited Bible College around here! Why not? Got any better ideas? At least they are trying to do something good! You have to give them credit where credit is due! God after all cares for us and loves us all, so why not give HIM a chance to make some changes for the positive, even if it is through a Bible college! Wake up people, haven't we excluded God from too much already? Pray about it and give it a try! It's a win win situation. Personally, I'm very tired of suffering, and would like to see some new changes that are positive being made! If anybody else has any other bright ideas, then bring them on! I would just love to hear just what you have to say! BRING ON THE JOBS AND HOUSING! We need some revenue and some answers! God help us! I hope that we all will have a peaceful and somewhat happy holiday season anyway! Struggling and survival are part of mine and others every day life, let's just try to make it a little more like Christmas and beyond, and make the best of it!
We have a church on one out of every 3 blocks in ths town. If God was magicaly going to bless this area, it would have happened by now.
We need an institution that will create an educated employable workforce. We need a business and managment school that listens to the community and its needs.
I agree that a Bible college would not be productive in the ways that this area needs it.
Amen! (pun intended...)
I feel that common sense has been a dying trait that was once common in most humans. Humans have lost their common sense. What happened to common sense? I propose a school of common sense. The Sandusky School Of Common Sense. This school would be very successful and could solve many problems. For example, don't get a second mortgage to fund a vacation that you cannot afford. Don't buy goods made overseas and expect to keep your job. Don't eat junk foods or to excess and expect good health. Don't wait to the last minute to look for a job when your unemployment benefits are about to end. Don't buy things that you don't need just because they are on sale. Don't waste your time on Black Friday specials. Wait a few weeks for the prices to come down. Don't believe everything a politician tells you. The Sandusky School Of Common Sense would be very successful. It would branch out to other cities in the state and through the nation. It could offer mail order courses and online courses. Graduates of this school could add this education to their resumes when looking for work or for job advancement.
