J Bistro, the innovative Italian restaurant on Milan Road in Perkins Township, is moving to downtown Sandusky.
The restaurant will close Jan. 15 at its current location, reopening in late spring or early summer in the old Yesteryears building on West Market Street.
J Bistro, which opened six months ago, is the brainchild of owner Jesse Harris, a former chef at Zinc Brasserie on Columbus Avenue.
“I can’t give many details right now,” Harris said Friday, “but, yes, we are moving downtown.”
J Bistro’s relocation will continue the swell of new eateries downtown.
Earlier this year Crush Wine Bar and Water Street Bar & Grille opened on Columbus Avenue and Water Street.
