A Sandusky man accused of being one of the parties who participated in a gunfight on Hancock and Neil streets has been indicted by an Erie County grand jury.
Elisha Cannon, 23, 500 block Kevin Drive, was arrested July 30 for the shooting by Sandusky police after law enforcement receiving tips from the community.
The shoot-out occurred at 1:45 a.m. June 12. It appears the shoot-out was an argument between local gangs. Statements suggest about a dozen shots were fired from .45-caliber or .40-caliber guns near a crowd of people. Police still are attempting to determine what the dispute was over.
Kevin Randleman, an innocent bystander, sustained a superficial wound to the leg.
