Paramedics rushed a young boy to Firelands Regional Medical Center after he supposedly ran into traffic and a car struck him.
The incident occurred Saturday morning within the 900 block of Hayes Ave.
It's not known how severe the injuries are at this time.
"He has road rash and bumps and bruises all over him," Sandusky police Lt. Phil Frost said.
Frost said the driver striking the boy, who appears to be 5 or 6, wasn't charged.
