HURON

The Huron man who went on a ride through a family recreational area with his 8-year-old niece in the car was convicted of OVI in Huron Municipal Court.

Heath Tittle, 34, lost his driving privileges for a year and could go to jail for up to 170 days if he breaks any more laws.

A restitution hearing next month will determine how much money Tittle will have to pay for damaging cautionary signs at Fabens Park he struck with his vehicle during the drunken drive in May.
