Competitive eating champ sets new record in Coney Island contest

Throngs of revelers packed Brooklyn's Coney Island on Thursday to see competitive eating champ Joey Chestnut scarf down 69 hot dogs to break a world record and win the title for a seventh year at the 98th annual Nathan's Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest.

Sonya Thomas defended her title with almost 37 dogs.
