Investigative review of Sandusky County jail guard accused of hitting woman co-worker

An internal investigation found Deputy Chris Benson provided conflicting stories when asked about allegations he hit a co-worker.

Benson allegedly told his supervisors he used his finger to direct his co-worker's face toward him. Later, he told an investigator he did not touch the woman, but her chin may have hit his hand when she turned her head.

"This statement to administration contradicts his statement that he never touched her face,” stated the report by Deputy Zachary Zender, who investigated the allegations.

Benson could face disciplinary action this week.

Here we go again law enforcement thinks they can get away with anything..the average citizen would be charged with lying to law enforcement .. I wonder if he would be the kinda guy whom had sexual relations with a partner and stated she said yes even though she claims she was raped

If you read the PDF, it doesn't sound as if he is going to "get away" with it. He even waived his rights.

Ithink

Gotta love how Rose told Longoria he wouldn't write Benson up if she didn't want him to--and then did NOTHING.

It really dont matter what he did or how he did it , He didnt do what he is suppose to be doing and not doing.
Law inforcement is suppose to represent the law and only the law , that means that they are suppose to believe in and respect as well as uphold the laws and when he admitted contact with his fellow officer , he violated that law and should be removed from the department . How can he full fill his duties with this mark against him not to mention the publics truest and respect has been damaged
