Are U kidding people?? Soon our property taxes will be more than our mortgage payments ! All that is done on the roads is tar-chipping anyway...GEEZ

tar and chip may be cheaper, but it does not work whatsoever! It tears up people's vehicles, and after one winter (if that), it's gone, and the road is just as bad if not worse than it was before.

The tar and chip is horrible. You get your grass full of gravel and it gets thrown all over when you mow. Also if you have to cross the road to your mailbox you get tar on your shoes. Since the tar and chip has to be done more frequently, I don't see how it could be cheaper over time.

Oh yeah, not to mention chipping your windshield or getting hit with projectiles when getting mail !!
