Overmyer refused to provide an incident report or provide information about what disciplinary action was taken against the dispatcher, or what the suspected infraction was that prompted the investigation.
"We do not have any documentation to pass on at this time. It is an ongoing investigation," Overmyer stated in reply to an inquiry this morning.
State law requires law enforcement agencies to file an incident report before commencing an investigation, and the incident report is a public record.
Overmyer has refused to release any information and appears to be withholding the public records despite the law's requirements.
