Oak Harbor Hardware gets facelift

Todd Hablitzel, the fourth generation to own and operate Oak Harbor Hardware on West Water Street, decided it was time for a facelift.    

His family's iconic, old-time store — passed down from generation to generation — recently underwent a hefty overhaul. 

He didn't want to discuss how much the family spent on the renovations.

“It was less then $1.2 million," he said, laughing. "Way less."
