A Collins woman was flown by helicopter to a Cleveland hospital Friday after her car went off the road and into a ditch.

Kayla Kobasic, 20, suffered a broken leg but not life-threatening injuries. She was conscious and talking when Erie County deputies showed up to the scene, but she was trapped in her vehicle.

The crash happened at about 2:30 p.m. on Ohio 113, near Cable Road in Florence Township. Florence firefighters had to cut the car open to get Kobasic out of the vehicle.
