if I caught that fish, even if it were snagged, I would break out the beer batter & heat up the fryer. that's about 6 pounds of meat, could be a bit less than that during the spawn but still a nice fish! in almost 10 years of fish cleaning the biggest I saw was around 12 pounds.

This is just 4 pounds below the record for the Sandtucky river. Great catch kid.

The Ohio record walleye is 16.19 pounds, a 33-incher taken from central Lake Erie off Cleveland in 1999.
