Saturday looks to be a good day to grab your tackle box and drop a line in the water.
hope he didn't snag it. would be illegal to keep it.
Way to go Tanner! ^5 That's a keeper!
Nice catch Tanner. You'll remember this the rest of your life.
This is Ranger Barny Fife--We know where you live kid and you're under arrest
if I caught that fish, even if it were snagged, I would break out the beer batter & heat up the fryer. that's about 6 pounds of meat, could be a bit less than that during the spawn but still a nice fish! in almost 10 years of fish cleaning the biggest I saw was around 12 pounds.
This is just 4 pounds below the record for the Sandtucky river. Great catch kid.
The Ohio record walleye is 16.19 pounds, a 33-incher taken from central Lake Erie off Cleveland in 1999.
Awesome fish young man!!!!
