Personal trainer makes people work for results

“For me and a lot of people who come to the classes, it’s about the vibe in the room,” Dorsey said. “You’re sweating, working hard and there’s music that keeps you pumping. You feel like you should be sweating.”

Dorsey kicked off an indoor cycling class this week, operating inside the Best Western at 6011 Milan Road in Perkins Township. The environment in the workout room was important to Dorsey, who describes it as having an “underground feel,” with cement walls and rubber mats thrown down on cement floors. Dorsey may be adding more cycling classes to those already offered on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. “I want to lead by example. If I see someone who has more potential, I will push them to work harder,”
