The nation is moving, freight that is.
Norfolk Southern opened up the new tracks on the west side of Sandusky at the end of February.
Dave Pidgeon, spokesperson for Norfolk Southern, said the tracks are part of nationwide projects to expand the rail system to meet international shipping needs. This is known as intermodel transportation and involves a couple modes of transportation, such as rail, ship or truck.
Work on the West end overpass continues with a targeted completion date of July 2014. Meanwhile, residents are likely to see an increase in train traffic with the completion of a new rail line late last month.

GREAT !!! Remember on each end of the train is JOBS !!!
GREAT !!! They increased train traffic in that area yet again, and still now way around. They could have waited until the overpass was completed before opening more tracks.
Agreed!
Oh that's right..... GREAT !!!
Heads are gonna roll over this one!
