looks like she's off to a good start.

Hold on, folks. This woman has a habit of showing up for things to make herself look good and then never following through. Beware. But, given how the board has always worked, this pick isn't a surprise. Remember when Faith Denslow was not re-elected, Krabill resigned, then the board appointed her? Uh huh.

Does a school board member get paid? How much? Curious.

Lil DAB-

The pay for a school board member is under $3000 per year.....

Now as far as Ms. Churchwell goes....I have always known Brigette to be a respectable person. As far as her just "showing" up to look good I think you have her mistaken for King Baer and Jeff Krabill.....you remember King right? Ran for school board, cried a river about how he just LOVED the students and then retired LITERALLY within 2 months of taking his seat.....Jeff is the same....ran for school board and then 1 month AFTER taking HIS seat he announces his run for treasurer and the ONLY reason he didn't GIVE up his seat is because he LOST the other election had he won he'd been RUNNING from the school board....I say let's give Brigette a chance to PROVE herself before we go TEARING her apart!

CONGRATS Ms. Churchwell!!
