Best decision she has made since being hired.

Ok now lets clean out the closet of the GOBs!

Curley

Tool Box, I agree with you about cleaning out the closet. If my uncle who was Chief of Police before he died he would give you one fair warning and if you didn't abide by that you know what broke loose.

Sit n Spin

The GOB network will continue.

Ah yes, the much ballyhooed "good ole boy network." Like Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster, we can always count on the area's paranoid conspiracy theorists for a sighting of this ephemeral, never truly defined "shadow government" that supposedly acts as puppet masters for everything that happens here. Do they fly around in mysterious black helicopters, too?

Matt is it really professional on your part to "like" a negative comment on these blogs as it relates to a news story in the newspaper you run, you have that right in an editorial article, but in a news article? How can you maintain any appearance of unbiased? My personal opinion very unprofessional on your part.

luvblues2

To be honest, I was not certain what matt "liked" since it wasn't in the reply section. It actually could be taken either way.

Sam

Consider his past comments about SPD, and the "like" was two minutes after the negative comment, not difficult to figure out.

Sit n Spin

When did the truth become a "negative" ? The rotten apples within the SPD will continue to rot and nothing will be done when they screw up with him as Chief ! That is FACT !

Sam

No its you opinion, not a fact.

Sit n Spin

No it's fact there Sammy. Orzech has cut his teeth in this culture of no consequences for shoddy police work & immorality among the beat cops that stink up Meigs St. It will continue as if nothing has changed, mark my words. Wait for it ;

Sam

Once again its only your opinion, give him an opportunity before you judge. The overwhelming majority are good officers and yes, probably a few bad ones just like every other organization which is not limited to law enforcement. The problem in a small media market is, you only get one view. We can only agree to disagree.

Boy, this post is proof that the mods don't even read the posts before they delete them. The post said, "this is a precursor to him becoming the chief. Congratulations John!" How in the world is that profane, obscene, sexual, or derogatory? SMDH!

Sam

Because its not the view of the management of this newspapers as demonstrated in Matt Westerholds "like" of a negative comment. I'll be surprised if I'am not deleted twice even through my comments would not fit the standards to be deleted.
