Sandusky County deputies and Fremont police were directed back a long lane from the 1400 block of Sand Street to the river's edge, where they turned south on the west side of the river until they found the body.
Using a fire boat, a deputy coroner reached and inspected the body, which was then taken to the Lucas County coroner's office for an autopsy.
Police received the call about the body just before 1 p.m., and were at the scene for about three hours.

I hope that Sandusky County investigate all the evidence properly.
At least this time Wukie sent the body to be autopsied.
You mean Wukie didn't rule it a suicide from his kitchen table?
Hopefully they'll do a better job investigating this death than Jacob's.
Sandusky County Coroner Wukie said that witnesses stated they saw a person swimming, so he ruled it a suicide and buried the body.
Meh, Another person that the family didn't keep tabs on.
...hmmm, I wonder if it'll be 2.
