Deputies tried nonviolent methods to subdue the dog at Island Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary before ultimately shooting it. Buffi Novotney, 40, was taken to the hospital, where she received 18 stitches in her arm and four stitches in her finger. A second volunteer did not require medical treatment.
Sheriff Stephen Levorchick said the wounds could have been life-threatening if the dog had bit an artery.
The dog that attacked the volunteers was a pit bull-boxer mix named Reese. It had not been aggressive before, said Nancy Benevento-Brown, Safe Harbor’s CEO.
“I’ve got pictures of him riding in the car, going to the vet,” she said. “We don’t take in aggressive animals.”

PERKINS TOWNSHIP — Police are looking for a man accused of injuring a senior citizen in a road rage attack.
Witnesses reported a man in a white van stop after the senior citizen pulled over Feb. 12 at 1:30 p.m. near the 1300 block of Strub Road. The suspect got out of his van and assaulted the senior citizen who received several injuries. The suspect is described as a man in his early 30s wearing a blue shirt, dark short hair, muscular-stocky build, driving a white delivery type van. The last four numbers on the Ohio plate are “8990,” the beginning of the plate is unknown. The vehicle was last seen eastbound on SR 6 as one of the witnesses tried to follow after the suspect fled. Possible lettering on the van could be “avol group” or something close to this.

I'd like to know one person that could listen to that entire thing and make sense of anything besides a whining and crying girl and a bunch of dogs barking. I shut it down 1/3 the way through. I also didn't see a "video".
