SANDUSKY

A man with wild sprouts of matted hair slouches back in a dining room booth at the far corner of Victory Kitchen.  From behind the serving line, kitchen manager Bruce Connor raises an eyebrow and watches the man out of  the corner of his eye.

He doesn’t stare, nor affords him special treatment. It’s a delicate balance. He knows the man likely just wants something to eat, but he also realizes a minor annoyance could trigger a fit of rage.

Bruce understands because he’s been there.
