Huron County’s health department and the North Central Ohio Dental Society are providing free dental screenings for children up to age 18 from noon to
4 p.m. Feb. 1 at the health department, 180 Milan Ave. in Norwalk.

The screenings are intended for children who do not have access to a dentist. The screening will include pre-cancer screening, soft and hard tissue inspection, and instruction on flossing and brushing.

Appointments are required. Call the health department at 419-668-1652 ext. 252  or 1-888-694-2443 ext. 252 to schedule a time. Children do not need to be Huron County residents to take part.
