NORWALK

Come and journey to a magical land, filled with Santa, reindeer and gingerbread men. Experience a taste of the North Pole and enter the world of Gingerfest 2009. Bring the family after the Bellevue Christmas Parade between 6:30-9 p.m. Monday to the Bronson Norwalk Conservation Club, 295 Townline Road 151, Norwalk.

Hosted by the Bellevue Community Center, this event features activities for the whole family. Stroll through Gingerfest Village, where people can write a letter to Santa at the Gingerland Post Office and frost a cookie at JoJo’s Bakery. Enjoy popcorn while you watch a short flick at Gabbi’s Theater. Make a craft, play a game and win a prize.

Registration is required in person at the Bellevue Community Center and cash payment of $2 per child and $1 per adult is required at the time of registration. This event is limited to the first 150 kids. Deadline to register is Friday.

Additionally, a canned food or gift for the giving tree is requested upon entrance to Gingerfest. All donations are given to local food banks and charities.
