PERKINS TWP.

Three people were taken to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash Monday evening at the intersection of Campbell Street and East Bogart Road.

Connie Boetcher, 61, Norwalk, was driving a black Chevrolet Impala south on Campbell Street at about 6:30 p.m. and failed to stop at a stop sign, according to a Perkins police report. Boetcher hit the rear driver’s side of a green Ford Escape, driven by Carl E. Reiderman, 60, Bellevue, that was eastbound on East Bogart Road.

The impact pushed the Escape into a yard in the 5000 block of Campbell Street. The Impala spun in a circle, hitting a gold Dodge Durango, driven by Albert C. Heuser, 50, 2600 block Tiffin Ave., that was northbound on Campbell Street.

Boetcher, Reiderman and his passenger were transported by Perkins EMS to Firelands Regional Medical Center.

The driver of the Impala was cited for failing to stop.

All were treated and released, according to hospital personnel.

Boetcher was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
