A Huron Township woman missing since Thursday was found dead in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Erie County Sheriff's detectives confirmed the body of Carla Westhofen, 58, was found off the road in a wooded area in Fairview Township, Pa., just over the Ohio-Pennsylvania border near Erie, Pa.

Authorities initiated a search for Westhofen's ex-boyfriend, David L. Kromer, nickname Jody, who is the primary suspect in the case.

Warrants charging Kromer with murder and kidnapping were issued today, Erie County sheriff's deputy Capt. Paul Sigsworth said.

Police are also searching for Westhofen's vehicle, a tan, 2002 GMC Envoy, license plate AXS 6883 and Kromer's vehicle, a blue 2000 Jeep Cherokee, license plate DQW 3569.
