Once again we see the insurance companies trying to use their muscle and bully us by threatening to increase premiums if there is health care reform. They want to maintain complete control of our health care.

The industry has been holding us hostage by deciding who receives care and what care we receive. The industry was originally started to help people. We would buy into plans that would help us to receive treatments that we could not afford on our own.

The industry has completely abandoned its original purpose and become a hungry dinosaur whose purpose now is to limit and control care to make more money for the corporations and to pad the pockets of a few. It's time we had a choice. We need a public option to provide affordable care for all of us and to hold big insurance companies accountable.
