It's been interesting hearing and reading all the hype about Issue 3. To me, I say bring them in and let's reap the benefits that they will bring. Even if the benefits are below expectations, I say something is better than nothing.

To the naysayers I ask: Have you considered the alternate benefits of having out-of-state employees working here? Granted some Ohio jobs may be lost, but those out-of-state people will have to have a place to stay, they will have to eat, spend their money in our stores, be entertained in out theaters, and pay local and state taxes on income.

If Issue 3 is passed, make it mandatory that only a casino can be built not an entertainment complex. This will force the gamblers to eat in our restaurants and book rooms in our hotels. This would be a big boost to the local economies where the casinos are built.

Let's pass Issue 3 and start keeping our money in Ohio rather than losing it our neighboring states.
