But Clydesdale horses are pretty cool, too.
A holiday tradition at the Hayes Center will return when sleigh rides and carriage rides, on vehicles pulled by Clydesdales, are offered from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday at Spiegel Grove, the grounds of the Hayes Center. Cost is $3 per person, with small children riding free.
For additional details on the event, pick up a copy of Monday's Register.

Where in the Sunday Register is this info? I've looked twice thru the paper and can't find it. Thanks.
It might not be in until tomorrow. The date on the online article is 12/24/12
The Hayes center is a great place if you are at all interested in history! It's a must visit.
Thanks msmous. I just read "For additional details on the event, pick up a copy of Sunday's Register." And today is Sunday. I didn't pay attention to the date. Apparently Tom Jackson is as eager for Christmas to get here as kids are LOL.
We've been to the Hayes Center a couple times. It's a beautiful place and yes, very interesting too.
I am about to throw in the towel on this online rag. The pop-up ads make it very hard to read because they cover up the text.
