PERKINS POLICE

Thursday, Sept. 17

4:29 p.m. -- Ohio 2 and Galloway Road, Michael J. Horner, 45, 70 block Jefferson St., Huron, warrant arrest.

6:52 p.m. -- 815 Crossing Lane, Kohl's, Ashley N. Rice, 18, New London, felony theft; two New London girls, ages 16 and 17, also charged with felony theft.

SANDUSKY POLICE

Thursday, Sept. 17

1:52 p.m. -- 1400 block Huntington Ave., woman applied for a $10,000 loan though a company in New York, but discovered the business was fraudulent when they asked her to send $1,543 as collateral. She never sent the money.

Friday, Sept. 18

10:13 a.m. -- 1200 block Ogontz St., car vandalized.

10:16 a.m. --1000 block W. Washington St., 60-year-old woman suspected she almost fell victim to mail fraud after a man from Ghana called and asked her to help out an orphanage in South Africa.

10:53 a.m. -- East Larchmont Drive, two pit bulls running loose.

11:21 a.m. -- 1200 block W. Jefferson St., man said his credit card was used fraudulently in Fremont.

11:40 a.m. -- 2000 block Sherman St., 87-year-old man said he was victim of identity theft.
