Schools got an indication of their performance last year with today’s release of district and building report cards.
Two local districts — Huron Schools and Norwalk Schools — received the highest possible rating of excellent with distinction. Statewide, 116 districts received that designation.
Sandusky Schools received a designation of continuous improvement, which the Ohio Department of Education explains as “some students are struggling, perhaps one or two groups, but ... overall the district or school is meeting expected levels.”
