Welcome to the city of dumb. Where else can you mow grass and get arrested for doing the city a favor and lose all normal services when faced with a deficit of a little amount.
Why don't the city folks take a lead from Mr. Waddington, who got the right idea: He's giving something back to the city. Why can't kline and others on the commission do more? And why is it always the safety forces that take the hit? Oh, and not to mention the dumb game there play with the soon-to-be chief of police again. They were wrong with everything the city did. How much would not firing her have saved the city? My hat's off to Mr. Waddington for taking the lead.
Mr. Kline, why don't you offer the city 30 percent of your salary to try to help out?. To the rest of the city officials, I put to you: Why don't you turn in part of your salaries to help?
Just remember the Dillery case and what she cost the city because they didn't do what was right, just as they have with Mr. Mower
