From Nov. 12 to Nov. 26, students participated in a contest to donate food that will go to four community organizations to supply food boxes for families in need.
The fifth and sixth grade student council members organized the contest and rewarded the homeroom with the most charitable giving with a special treat from the student council.
Principal Kathy S. Pace Sanders called the event "a great deed of caring and sharing."
