GREEN SPRINGS

No arrest has been made of the second suspect in the murder of an 80-year-old Green Springs man.

Patrick Stansbery, 26, is named as a co-defendant in the murder of Frank Rios Jr., in an indictment returned by a Seneca County grand jury against Erica Rowe.

Rowe, 22, formerly of Bellevue, was indicted on charges of complicity to murder, complicity to aggravated burglary, complicity to aggravated robbery and complicity to felonious assault, in connection with the November 2008 murder of Rios Jr., and the assault of his wife Bette.

Rowe was arrested Wednesday.

She is scheduled to appear at 2 p.m. today for a bond hearing in Seneca County Common Pleas Court in front of Judge Steve C. Shuffs.

Rios was attacked during an early-morning home invasion on Nov. 2 at their rural home. His wife was beaten but able to call for help. He died a day later from his injuries, which law enforcement officials believe were inflicted with a baseball bat.
