A 44-year-old Grafton man won $311,000 Monday when one of five Ohio Lottery RollingĀ  tickets he bought at the Friendship Food convenience store on Cleveland Road turned out to be a winner.

Store manager Dawn Brill said customers who see the sign advertising Monday's winning ticket are often inspired to purchase more tickets, particularly since the store has seen a bout of good luck this past week. On Monday the Cleveland Road store sold a $1,000 scratch-off and a $500 cash off, in addition to the winning ticket sold to Wirtanen.
