SANDUSKY

A pressure vessel measuring more than 100 feet long and 15 feet high was hauled through Sandusky on Tuesday afternoon.

Troopers from the Sandusky post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol directed traffic as the vessel passed through the area. Traffic was stalled near the railroad tracks on Venice Road.

The vessel was manufactured at Didion’s Mechanical in Bellevue and was being hauled to a dock on Putnam Street. It will be shipped via barge to Minnesota and then by truck to North Dakota.
