Fans of the Ford Tri-Motor will have the chance to dance the night away with their favorite Tin Goose 6-10 p.m. July 3 at Sandusky Griffing Airport.
The Experimental AircraftAssociation Chapter 50, based in Huron, is sponsoring the Tri-Motor's trip to Sandusky again this year, this time as part of the 50-year celebration of the EAA.Tickets are available for $13 each at Griffing Airport,3115 Cleveland Road, Sandusky.
The evening will feature music by Swing City Big Band, snacks and a cash bar, along with vintage military vehicles and tours of the Tri-Motor.
The EAA's Tri-Motor is scheduled to spend July 2-6 at Griffing, offering rides at $60 each ($50 for EAAmembers). Tickets are sold at the field, but reservations may be made at 800-843-3612 or at flytheford.org.
