MONROEVILLE

There's no dam festival like Monroeville's Dam Festival.

Returning this weekend, the three-day dam event bursts with entertainment, playful competitions and lively delights.

TODAY

5 p.m. — Beer court, food stands and information booth open

6 p.m.— Royalty pageant on the main stage and softball tournament on the main ball diamond, followed by fire juggling, clown performances and a musician in the beer tent.

SATURDAY

8 a.m. — Softball tournament

8:30 a.m. — Mud volleyball sign-in begins and beer tent opens

10 a.m. — Beautiful baby contest

2 p.m. — Corn hole tournament

3:30 p.m. — Parade

6 p.m. — Subway's sub-eating contest, euchre tournament and live music by Steve Brownell

SUNDAY

8 a.m.— Pancake breakfast.

11 a.m. — Mud volleyball playoffs

Noon — Pie and cake judging

1 p.m. — Dam Duck Race, cupcake-eating contest

2 p.m. — Kiddie tractor pull
