The Erie County Humane Society is featuring these cats and kittens available for adoption:

Alfie, Arthur and Austin are 12-week-old orange tiger kittens, found orphaned in Sandusky.

Virginia and Hope (not pictured) are 1-year-old sisters who would love to go to the same home together.

Luvs is a 4-year-old long-haired beauty. She was found as a stray raising her four kittens who have already been adopted.

The Humane Society is at 1911 Superior St., Sandusky. Adoption hours are 1-6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday. Normal adoption fees are: Cats/kittens $60, but fees are waived for cats 3 years old or older. Dogs/puppies adoption fees vary. The fees include spaying/neutering and first shots if the kitten is at least 3 months old. The phone number is 419-626-6220.

The Erie County Dog Pound has these dogs up for adoption:

Dolly, a 1-year-old female mixed boxer, is available now. She is housebroken and loves to run and play. A fenced yard is recommended, dog warden Barb Knapp said.

Tess, an 8-week old female rottweiler/husky mix, is available at 7:30 a.m. Friday. She is an incredibly cute pup.

Eda, a 7-year-old female beagle, is available at 11:45 a.m. Friday. She is very loveable and friendly.

The Erie County Dog Pound, 2900 Columbus Ave., Perkins Township, is open 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10-10:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Call 419-627-7607. Adopting a dog costs $30.
