In the span of five hours, city officials have four engagements today dealing with some of the city’s biggest issues.

1:30 p.m. — A hearing in Erie County Common Pleas Court between Sandusky and Save our Shoreline Parks regarding the lawsuit settlement that would give the club a piece of public property as well as give it the go ahead for docks for large boats and the ability to construct a building up to 120 feet tall.

5 p.m. — At City Hall, developer John Eymann will give an update on the Marina District during a public meeting, followed by a Q&A session.

5:45 p.m. — The Sandusky Sailing Club will try to persuade the city commission to grant its request for a liquor license.

6 p.m. — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will meet with the commissioners regarding the coal tar plume.
