Today we’re talking with Norwalk and Bellevue reporter Cory Frolik about the Monday morning shooting of 14-year-old Joseph Magyar, who remains in the intensive care unit of St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

Police say he was shot by his best friend, Austin Perry, 15, while the two boys were playing with a .22-caliber rifle.

This afternoon, Joseph’s condition was upgraded from critical to serious, and he continues to recover.
