Britain Bennett spearheaded the Sweet Dreams initiative about a year ago, when she collected new pillows and new or gently used pajamas for the area's disadvantaged youth.

Britain then personally delivered the items to Erie County Care and Share. Once again, she's asking for similar donations.

If you'd like to donate to her Sweet Dreams collection, call 419-202-4349.

Britain is accepting new pillows; new or gently used pajamas; household goods such as curtains, towels and kitchen supplies; and toys.

"Thank you for helping me make sure that every child in our area has the opportunity to sleep comfortably," Britain said.
