The Perkins United bulletin arrived at my home April 28, and I have many concerns regarding the involvement of the Ohio Department of Education with the China's Office of Language Council International.

My first question of course, is why should our children be influenced by any foreign education program and least of all with China?

The licensed pilots in my family told me that the official international language in aviation is English. All our ancestors (American Indians excepted) came from many countries that required them to learn English to function in American life.

If the Chinese government wants to engage in business in the United States then we must require them to learn English. Arizona forbids any school to tolerate Spanish in the classroom.

The unnecessary expense of their teachers from a Communist country coming her to indoctrinate our American children is unconscionable.
