CATAWBA ISLAND TWP.

Irene Wilson, who lives at the Vineyards at Catawba retirement community, has translated Sunday school lessons into Braille since 1985.

Now, Wilson, 94, translates colorful little booklets every three months for just one child in Washington State. She said she doesn't know the little boy's or girl's name, but she feels good knowing she's helping a child learn.
