More details emerged today about the homicide in Margaretta Township.

A forensic autopsy in Lucas County determined the female victim was 5-foot-1, between the ages of 20 and 50 years old and had an upper dental plate.

A preliminary examination of the body Monday by Erie County coroner Brian Baxter concluded the victim was white, but Tuesday’s autopsy said her race was inconclusive.

An Ottawa County dive team has been called to Resthaven Wildlife Area to help Erie County investigators search ponds and streams for evidence in Monday’s suspected homicide.

The Erie County Sheriff’s office urged anyone with relevant information to call the Detective’s Bureau at 419-627-7573.
