Three people were injured after a two-vehicle crash in Ottawa County.
Trevis Cheatham, 42, Oak Harbor, was westbound on Ohio 163 at about 5 p.m. Wednesday when the driver of another vehicle ran a stop sign at the intersection of Ohio 163 and 590.
The driver, Alicia Wadsworth, 18, Gypsum, was driving a 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada south on Ohio 590 when she struck Cheatham’s vehicle, a 1996 Lincoln Town car.
Both vehicles veered off the southwest corner of the intersection. Wadsworth was taken by medical helicopter to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. She remained in serious condition Wednesday night, a hospital spokeswoman said.
A passenger in her vehicle, Jack Boreman, 20, also of Gypsum, suffered injuries and was taken to St. Charles Hospital in Oregon. A hospital spokeswoman late Wednesday night said he had been discharged.
Cheatham suffered injuries and was also taken to St. Charles Hospital. The hospital had no record of him as a patient, the spokeswoman said.
The Sandusky post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the crash, and Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies assisted. The crash remains under investigation, and no citations have been issued.
