BELLEVUE

Last year the Rev. Yuri Kuzara and organist Seth Knight of Sorrowful Mother Shrine started a campaign to find an honest-to-God pipe organ for the shrine and its chapel, but they were surprised to find most new pipe organs have a starting price tag of $200,000.

Then they learned a Presbyterian church was willing to donate a pipe organ, but it would cost $25,000 to move the mammoth music machine to the Bellevue shrine. Lillian Tymkewicz, a longtime supporter of the shrine, stepped in and donated the money. She died last month at age 93.
