Has anybody noticed how awful people's driving habits have been lately?

I think if the State Highway Patrol and the Sheriff's office want to get more money, they definately need to put more officers on the highway; especially on Ohio 2 and the turnpike. It is amazing how many people are speeding on those roads.

When I am on those roads, I lock my van's cruise control on 70 mph. You wouldn't believe how many people zip by me like I'm standing still doing around, I guess, 80 or more. It seems like if they have a fancy looking vehicle, they can do whatever they want.

Why is it that people feel they have to go so fast? Why is it that people feel they just have to get around you, then cut in front of you and get off at the next exit? Why do people feel they have to tailgate you?

It's terrible on four-lane highways. Even on two-lane roads, people drive like maniacs.

Everybody knows the faster you go, the more gas you use, so you speeders shouldn't gripe about gas milage.

I would encourage law enforcement agencies to put more officers on the roads and help to slow down some of these idiot speeders. It would certainly make the roadways a lot safer.

Also, for those who insist on talking on your cell phone while speeding, turn your phone off and put it down and concentrate on your driving. That's what you should be doing in the first place.
