Historian and author Claudia Brown will tell the story of Kelleys Island at the Maritime Museum of Sandusky this Saturday.

Brown is the fourth consecutive generation to live on family property and the fifth generation on Kelleys Island.

Her parents were descended from German immigrants who came to the island during the nineteenth century. She also wrote the book, "Kelleys Island: An Island Story."

The program begins at 1 p.m. Saturday and is free with admission to the Maritime Museum.

Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors and children or $8 per family.

The museum is located at 125 Meigs St. and open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
