HURON TWP.

There’s something wildly entertaining about a chubby little quadruped that has eyelashes like Tammy Faye Baker, hair like Jessica Simpson and the stunted height of Mini-Me from the Austin Powers movies.

Without speaking, of course, the two mini-ponies at Erie MetroParks’ new farm-animal park just seem to say, “Hug me, but don’t judge me because I’m short and pudgy.”

Snazz and Shadow are two of the shorter residents at The Barnyard, a volunteer-operated farm park at  Joseph Steinen Wildlife Area on East Perkins Avenue in Huron Township.
